There are many people who suffer from bad credit but few of them realize that how bad it can be for their credit report and in turn to their future financial decisions. To help you improve your credit score there are many credit repair services in the market, there are many internet based credit repair services too. But one should keep in mind that the negative records one have in his report and are true, cannot be removed from the report whatsoever.
Any credit repair service can only show you the way to take measures that can increase your credit score. This can be done by you too. Moreover you increase the risk of identity theft; sharing your personal information with the company may prove hazardous to your financial position and may be used in a wrong way. Most of the credit repair services guarantee you to take you out of your debts and not to improve your credit. In fact they may degrade your credit report by asking you to pay your bills late, more than 30 days after, ultimately decreasing your credit score. Also many of the credit counselors tend to advise you for not paying your credit bills at all to help you come out of debts early, but in fact they help you in making an account or a credit report that will be uncontrollable.
Above all this they charge you monthly fee and also a set-up fee, further ruining your credit report, moreover your account. The credit repair companies write letters to the credit bureaus, asking them to remove some listed information as they are false, the credit bureaus temporarily remove the listed records and meanwhile they investigate, the company sends you a credit report clear of negative records and in turn charges you. But when the investigation is done by the credit bureaus and is found out that there were no false records in the report, the deleted records soon reappear. Hence the black marks on your credit report, if true, cannot be removed. No credit repair service can help you do this.
